Appreciation My top 5 boygroup titles, girlgroup titles and B sides of 2021 (1 Viewer)

Since 5 months are over and because I need a 3rd thread for daily quest, I decided to make this

It's been a strange year, overall I've still listened to more girl group stuff but I think the best boygroup songs have been better than the girlgroup's best efforts this year, which surprised a gg stan like me. I'm still waiting for that one gg song to blow me away this year, a lot of my faves came back recently- Itzy, STAYC, OMG and I liked their stuff but didn't love it.

These rankings changed a bit in the earlier months but I feel fairly confident about them now.

Anyway, top 5 girl group titles:

Top 5 boy group titles:

2. Golden Child- Burn It
3. ONF- Beautiful Beautiful
4. Shinee- Atlantis
5. CIX- Cinema
Honorable mention: BTS- Butter, OnlyOneOf- Libido
This top 5 is stronger than girl group top 5 imo, quite the surprise for me.

Next- top 5 Bsides which will be all girls since I rarely listen to boygroup b sides unless it's NCT, SuperM or EXO.

Girl group B sides tho, were much better than title tracks this year.

And a bonus- top 5 soloist songs, I think overall soloists have had the best output this year.

I'd have Taeyong- Blue if it was an official release and not on Soundcloud. The top 3 here are better than boygroup and girlgroup top 3 while the bottom 2 are not as strong but still solid.

Yeah I also liked Given Taken but Drunk Dazed was just
It's funny I was fully prepared to stan Treasure last year and I had literally zero interest in I-Land or a survival show bg, but it turns out Enhypen title tracks have blown me away and Treasure not quite
The MV was also amazing although first vampires and now werewolves?
