I'm actually surprised I thought BTS, OMG or Aespa would block everyone but it seems they aren't eligible

Feel bad for Fromis tho, the gap is so small and it would've been their 1st win.

Also what actually shook me is this is actually a super fast win, didn't expect that.

From wat iv read, The Show wins are "participation" wins(no shade meant, as i think The Show shd do all it can to get bog acts to perform on stage), so the biggest act who appears would win. Well, most well-supported act who appears. I cant rmbr last time 2 or 3 big acts went head to head on The Show, since i started watching it sometimes on cable tv as broadcast in mid 2019.(i may be wrong but its wat i read, maybe a long time ago tho).

Congratz to Everglow, a great song wholly deserving of a win.

Yep, Fromis won both the pre-vote and live vote but lost out in the SNS + Youtube + physicals category, either way the difference was so small could've gone either way.
I hope they can still get their first win soon.

Unless you're from Big 3 or a very unique act, your first win will always be on The SHOW. It might be a participation award, but it's sort of a nugu-filter. There's a reason why big groups don't get nominated there. After your win on The SHOW, your value is increased approximately ten times (for sponsorships and guest features) so it's only upwards from there, just gotta keep the momentum.

I mean, iv nthg against fromis_9 but i rlly like Everglow's 'First'; it's just the timing release of 'We Go' unfortunately dint give them a first win yet. Such is The Show's criteria from my memory. It's unlucky/timing issue for them. At least they dint face the Rollin' juggernaut in its time.

(I seem to recall most big3- ggs, at least, not going on The Show v much{unless its maybe 1st week for watever reason-maybe the easy 1st win: eg RV/Twice iirc?) Well, maybe fromis has a chance on Show Champion or another music show ahead. Good luck to them.

Congrats to Everglow As for the conversation about The Show I find it very funny how there's this stigma about The Show being a "participation award" yet the same people who say that will celebrate winning on MAMA or MMA which are notoriously unfair award shows for more reasons than just needing to show up while The Show it's just the participation that blocks some groups.
