I feel like I’m starting to fall out of k-pop.


I’ve been debating on if I should retire my albums and merchandise.
I just have zero motivation to keep up with any of my stans anymore.
I’m having a mid-life crisis rn. It’s like the feeling of breaking up with your s.o. when you’ve been together for several years.

If it's a mid-life crisis I wouldn't make any hasty decisions regarding your merch. You may regret it once the crisis passes. I know I fell out of Kpop for like a year and I contemplated whether I should get rid of my stuff but now I'm back in and I'm so glad I didn't.

But I hope things get better for you-I genuinely do. Sometimes we just go through rough patches.

The thing is tho, I feel like I’ve been on a break already. It gives me anxiety in a way because there’s sooooo much stuff going on within the k-pop world and even though I suck at catching up with the majority of it, I would hate to miss out on even more of it in the future if that makes any sense. Feel like I’m contradicting myself by saying that tho. Lol

But I myself did take a passive break from mostly the fandom for two years and I came back stronger than before so there is nothing wrong with taking a break even if it ends up bein permanent

I’ve come to a conclusion that I won’t be getting rid of my stuff. Knowing me, I will definitely regret it later and the k-pop lifestyle isn’t cheap. That’s coming from someone who isn’t even a hard stan either. Lmao
I’m hoping it is just a phase for now.

Don’t throw out the merch, I did that before when I took a break from k-pop & have regretted it & am now trying to get merch again, now that I’m back into k-pop. I do think it’s perfectly okay to step back and take a break from it for a while, if you need too, and then decide what to do from there.
