I am not a fan of that debut method. for almost exactly what happened to you.
i want to see the group get a feel for them and then go crazy with the solos if ya want.
for sure was not investing a year and a half into a unknown group.

Then high high was like... fine but not something i was going to go nuts over.

I get that!! Personally I could get into the members before to actually love the music
