I am pretty pissed actually….
at work there started this weird discussion about sexuality and how they don’t understand why someone would say they are pan or demi… and I was just shocked. Just because you don’t get it, just because you don’t get why someone feels more comfortable with a label than another label doesn’t mean you can pretty much hate on a sexuality. It feels so insulting when someone disregards a sexuality, there is a reason why different sexualities exists and why someone identifies with a sexuality more. Just let people be how they want to be. Eugh…​

I've actually seen people make these arguments and generally what I find is that they have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.

It's usually thinking pansexuality is just bisexuality and that demisexuality is normal for people but they have no idea that they are completely different experiences and that they should really do some research.
