declining for the most part in america for me since i find so many of the songs that are popular to be boring but i am liking kpop more and more nowadays

I think its about the same overall cause there is always rise and fall of different genres, but even if sth isn't mainstream at the moment doesn't mean its dead- there is always new music to be found

But if we talk about just mainstream music or particular music genre then it's different. For kpop this era isn't peak for me, more misses than hits for me.

I'd say it's declining when it comes to mainstream music as most of the trends that happen nowadays are hot garbage but overall there's more variety in music than ever so there's going to be something out there for everyone and in that regards it's improving
