We usually prefer one of the two but sometimes it happens that you switch alliances, has this happened to you and why?

Cats are very easy to take care of, you don’t have to take them outside or take them for walks. You just feed them and clean their litter box. But since I got a dog I’m starting to like all the work that goes with it. I went from a cat to a dog person.

Yeah Dogs seem much more high maintenance compared to cats

I have always liked dogs more; but I used to dislike cats on my youth. Being more close to a few of them changed my mind.

1) I used to be scared of dogs when I was a kid
2) I hate it when dogs jump on you and lick you
Thankfully cats are less scary and their meows are cute

I think my personality resemble cats more but I have a dog and he is trying to convince me daily that he is better than any cat.
for now I´m a dog person just out of loyalty, I guess?

I was raised with dogs, so being a dog person came naturally; I'd still rather not have a dog. I like cats in the abstract, but in my mid-20s I found out I was allergic. I guess I wasn't meant for pets.

The person I used to work in a research lab with said that she had cats that she needed to give away so I took one and she ended up becoming the love of my life
