Do you watch variety/reality shows of your faves despite them being scripted? (1 Viewer)

How do you feel about watching them? Personally, I don't like watching them because you can tell how fake and setup some of this stuff is. Obviously most, if not all, variety and reality shows are like this. I just don't like how fake it is so I just won't watch. I even tried watching a Weekly Idol episode the other day and the way the members had to act made me cringe

Do you still like to watch variety or reality shows even if they're scripted? Does it bother you at all?

It doesn't usually bother me too much usually I'm more bothered of editing out certain members or repeated scenes and reactions ^^; but I think ppl are pretty genuine when playing games etc, just trying to do their best and be funny... and get that screentime

but I usually find that I prefer shows that don’t have people I stan in them

I stan for the idol persona, there’s no reason that a real more boring person is better than something that’s scripted and entertaining

all shows are likely mostly scripted. run might have some genuine reactions there but a lot of it probably has at least an outline and the members know the direction of it
