Macross Delta, right? i loved the Anime, specially the soundtrack, it was like a less crazy version of Symphogear,

but i'm surprised they are an actual group

Yes they are! I actually love their group

what i like about both Symphogear and Delta is how they manged to integrate the OST into the plot, definitely a better result than just having music coming from nowhere

Symphogear is basically Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann but with singing girls

-
so apparently the reason they are releasing a new single its because Macross Delta is coming back

https://myanimelist.net/anime/38373/Macross_Δ_Movie_2__Zettai_Live

and seems this is the second movie, i didn't even knew there was a first

https://myanimelist.net/anime/36077/Macross_Δ_Movie__Gekijou_no_Walküre

but great news
