I don't think the other groups have a similar sound to BP lol, except Everglow maybe :susPepe:
In fact Loona's recent cb seems more Itzy style while Rocket Punch and WekiM are more teen crush. BP always had that signature Teddy/YG sound.
But in terms of reviving girl crush popularity? Absolutely, that's why more groups are going for that concept now.
    Darkseid
    Darkseid
But it's like cyclical in Kpop, when SNSD phased out their cute concept, we had a few years where girl crush/sexy/mature concepts became more popular with AOA/EXID/Sistar.
Now Twice is also phasing out their cute days and with BP's popularity, there are more girl crush groups coming up.
After few years, back to cute lol.

    Happy Rose day :sakUwu:
And did you see the Blackpink news?

could be something bigger, cuz of UMG.. i guess we have to wait and see. probably mentioned it so many times, i'm not happy BP/YGE is involved with UMG... those people are the worst of the worst.. i fear for my girls.. till this day, i am sure thats why YG himself / YGE in general went down.. Deal with the Devil, what did u expect stupid Yang Hyun-suk, dont mind me oppa, too much into conspiracy :sanathink:

Oops I missed this reply :nekosweat:
Hmm it will probably be something anticlimactic again lol- at best a collab, which doesn't excite me much tbh, feels like their songs are Western af already. Or it could be a tour and stuff, which again, whatever. I just want a full album and new music lol.
Not worried for the girls, just afraid it won't result in anything :umjicry:

My dad was actually out on a date :jenniesmug: i was so happy :sakUwu: he needs to get out more.

Our "family" consists pretty much of me&dad. The "woman" gave birth to me, left us when i was really young. I grew up with my dad&grandpa/ma, both alrady died and my dad was their only child. Same goes for "mother's" side, no uncles&aunts&cousins

That's good to know, looks like both you and your dad had a fun NYE :sakUwu:

I always found Jennie and Jisoo the prettiest but lately Park Chaeyoung :sj_weary::sj_weary: And she's a fantastic dancer too :nekosweat:
Yeah I figured that would be the case, Jennie saying that just confirms things. I know being a Blink is frustrating lol, having to watch the same content again and again. But don't worry, once they comeback, you'll be hyped again, in the meantime enjoy being multifandom :sanapray:

Yeah you can't help it lol. Don't worry if some group even ends up becoming your ult, it doesn't mean you'll stop loving BP :yolk: Like I ended up loving Oh My Girl and making them my #1 even though I still love Twice :nekosweat:

Eunseo is amazing, such a talented and pretty girl :sj_weary: she was also great in the latest ISAC, she carried WJSN to a gold in female wrestling :yolk:

KPOPSOURCE
Community-driven since 2018
Our Story
KpopSource began as a small blog called ksource, created by a dedicated K-Pop fan known as @Sourcekeeper. Frustrated by the decline of welcoming, discussion-driven communities, she set out to build something different — a space where fans could talk, connect, and stay for the long term.

Over time, that simple idea grew into the community you see today. While platforms and trends have changed, the goal has remained the same: to give K-Pop fans a place that feels familiar, human, and worth returning to.
