i don't know why everyone hates business majors so much, most of the people ive met in my business school like to party, but theyre still great students and are super motivated.

Reminds me of this loll

I mean I kinda understand it since most business majors are capitalist republicans but not all of us :wimwim:

They all kinda assume that we're all super unethical because a lot of businesses are unethical but not all of us even want to own our own businesses :jisoosmh:

One of my educators literally fried me for wanting to go into business and said that it was unethical :wimwim:

Then they said that business majors are horrible :reallysadcat:
These people really don't understand that being a business major is really beneficial to society.

Bruh why are the teachers like that too? :jisoosmh:
and exactly, I just want a decent paying job after college and besides stem majors (which I'm terrible at and hate), there aren't a ton of options. Besides learning about business principles is interesting imo

plus im pretty sure most college kids - including business majors - are super liberal and even if they aren't I hate the mindset that just because someone is conservative and has different views from you, theyre a horrible person

Business is really interesting! I'm really interested in marketing and the business professors at my school are really good. I'm pretty sure my college has one of the best business programs in my state.

The business major jokes are funny at first but then they start questioning your morals and it doesn't feel too good. :nekoshy:

Most of the business majors in my school are liberal too tbh. We're just trying to pursue a career we're interested in, it has nothing to do with politics. Sure some conservatives are horrible but with that logic so are some liberals. I think I only know a couple of republican business majors at my school anyway

im glad i finally have someone to complain about this to lmao, most of my friends are stem majors so I get shit about my major from them a lot and it's really getting annoying.
in their case, they don't usually say anything about morals -at least not to me, they call other business majors snakes  .
It's just always about how much harder their courseload is. Like it's not my fault you decided to try and kill yourself by doing a double degree in the two hardest engineering disciplines.

Lol yeah, when I complain to anyone they talk about me being privileged or something 😭 Like, "us xx majors have it so much harder you have no right to complain". It's really annoying :wimwim:
None of my friends talk about morals but literally everyone else does. It's almost like business majors threaten them or something. I'm not sure what it is about them but nothing is funny about joking about something as serious as morals.
STEM is hard, I'll give them that. But it's not like business is easy by any standard. It may be easier, yes, but that doesn't invalidate the fact that it's still college. Everyone is capable of different things, so while business may seem easy to them because they've done things much harder, it's still difficult to us because this is the most we've done.

Exactly I agree. Plus with stuff like finance and accounting, it may be easier than their stem stuff, but it's still crazy convoluted and pretty hard. Besides, what business lacks in hard coursework, it makes up for with the fact that you need really good soft skills and you need to network like crazy. Which is hard in its own right.

Not to mention, most business majors minor in computer science. It's strange how people assume that just because one aspect of your life is easy everything else is for you. It's all still really confusing.

I think what bothers me the most is when people act like I'm not as smart because I don't do STEM. Look, if you're the one who chose to major in 5 different branches of STEM then I'm not the dumb one :pandatea:

yesssss go off :sj_weary:
I've had friends treat me like I'm dumb too, I'm not sure if it's bc I'm not a stem major? But ig I wouldn't be surprised.
The other day my friends were talking about pavloving each other to study and I said that I needed that. Then they asked me if I knew what pavlov's experiment even was
:wimwim:
Like bruh who doesn't

In all fairness, it could be because I'm just pretty dumb in general. But STEM majors are all super condescending. Like we get it, you'll be in school until you're 30, you can sit down now. :haylul:

You should definitely double major or do a minor! Or double major in information systems like me if your business school offers it :maheart:
It can only help since a lot more employers are looking for it. Plus computer science is interesting
