Haha, i thot u were kidding abt getting drunk( in ur comment). Yrs ago, when i was young(-er, much younger-like 17/18 to early 20s) i tried drinking a little-but less than 1 glass of beer after work at a chinese restaurant got me tipsy n maybe queasy tat i dint like it n took a long while b4 i tried again. N i was a drink dispenser at the restaurant(soda n beer/stout). I nvr was tempted to sample the drinks myself.

Next time was at a club a few yrs l8r ard 21 yrs of age. The entrance fee included 2 free drinks or sthg, so i ordered same as my friends-a tequila pop. I got so tipsy tat when we left the club to go to Micket dees for supper/food-my friend said i was swaying n walking drunkenly. Over the yrs i tried again, red wine 2 times.

Both times i dint enjoy it, but the lsst time a few yrs ago i got rlly nauseous at a friend's place n either threw up or felt like throwing up. Tat was last time cause i rlly cant handle alcohol/enkoy drinking. Except ale or sthg once in my 20s in Europe. Or maybe it was the country/environment.

Point of my rambling story all about me is, when i got tipsy-my brain would not hv processed well enuf to write the comment u made n made a joke at the same time, haha so i thot u wre kidding!!

lol. I think I had 4 beers and 6 pre-made mixed drinks yesterday... But the bottles were like 7 OZ so the typical beer in a bar is like 16 OZ so it wasn't really that much and I didn't start to feel the effects until I got bored and wanted something that had an artificial fruit flavor...

Were u day drinking/at a bar or at a party? Cause i only know abt drinking culture from tv/movies/stories n my limited experience.

Seems to me a fruit cocktail isnt typical after 4 beers+6 mixers(is tat rite term? Or is it shooters?

I was at my sister's house. I got tired of beer and just switched to cans of pina colada flavored wine cooler. But, no, shooters are pure liquor (i.e., vodka, tequila, rum) and higher alcohol per volume. A mixed drink would be liquor mixed with additives, such as Rum mixed with Cola or Pineapple Juice mixed with Vodka. Some people drink shots (shooters) straight or mix it with jello and consume it like that... I have seen some people hollow out a water melon and pour alcohol inside it and let it marinade so they can eat their alcohol laced watermelon... That's not really my thing though. lol

Tats sounds like an enjoyable time at ur sisters hse. Im unfamiliar with US holidays but google tells me memorial day was May 30th so its not a holiday get-together u jyst had, rite?

My family's get-togethers dont involve alcohol at all, except one or two of my uncles who drink whisky or hard liquor(usually just him/+ his brother only tho n very seldom, usually just chinese new year's-he's my aunt's husband so we dont see em every week/mth, more often when i was younger/when my grandparents were still ard).
