I don’t agree. It’s really common for people to have a second name, for example an Asian person with an “English name”. Lots of Kpop idols take on a western name as their stage name. Are you including all these people in your critique?

It’s was never a particularly good song - just compared to the utter crap that makes up the rest of their discography, it was an absolute godsend at the time!
