honestly it can be for someone whos never really done it but generally its just a pain in my butt because I always forget to write 👁 👄 👁 one year I did half a NaNoWriMo (25k) because I was not looking forward to writing random words just to reach my goal lol

it also tracks your progress for more mind-blowing (and you can make projects outside of NaNoWriMo as you can tell by this image lol)

I love using the website because it calculates what your daily wc needs to be to finish on time lol
