Did you know that there used to be a toy line called Little Miss Housekeeper? It’s exactly what it sounds like. Toys designed for girls that help them “become the housekeeper they’re supposed to be”. Obviously I don’t follow that notion but it’s baffling to know that this was a thing.

Terry Fox, his goal was to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. He made it to Thunder Bay where cancer took his life. Every year in September there is a “Terry Fox run” that people participate in, in his honour, to continue raising money for cancer research.
