I disagree with the current timeline, because most people seem to lump Stray Kids and (G)I-DLE into 4th gen, and I don't think they fit there. 2018 debuts are in 3rd gen in my mind. I do agree that 5th gen has not started yet. But I could see it happening late 2024 or in 2025

By my reckoning, 4th gen started with ITZY and TXT.

My rule for Kpop generations is that a new generation starts when the majority of the oldest members of new groups are younger than the majority of maknaes of previous groups.
