Yeah that’s just the idol culture happening. It is what it is sadly but luckily a lot of them are built to withstand and deal with the criticisms, they’re also aware of it beforehand. Especially after all of the training and competition they go through.

I think a lot of fans are used to idol culture and expect them to be nice but if you compare actual idols to regular people, a lot of idols really go above and beyond whats expected of them. The insane beauty standards in Korea doesn’t help though.
