I think there's a difference: joking about an idol maybe not being so fluent and how they're cute is ok imo, but then there are people who turn it into a personality trait which I just find weird...

It's like they're poking fun at idols genuinely trying to learn a really different language: the light teasing is fine but some people see "bad at English" like it's a personality trait

I've also seen a ton of teens who tweet similar stuff, one kept subtweeting debunked rumours and spammed my replies when I called them out for it
