Next month is going to be a rather crazy and hectic period...
Our move from Tokyo to Sapporo is happening!
Goodbye to disgustingly hot and humid Tokyo summers! And hello to freezing cold winters (but pleasant summers)
I've had people asking me if it's okay with visiting Hokkaido during the middle of the winter in just their jeans and hoody/coat.....
The temperature can drop to -30C! Get the proper clothing!!
I am currently on a trip in Scotland with my eldest daughter :pandahappy:
She was my +1 for a family wedding in Edinburgh and we now have plans to explore the Scottish Highlands (Loch Lomond, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, Glenfinnan and the Isle of Skye).
Do you ever get the most random food cravings late at night? :llama_ramen:
Whilst chilling and watching a film with Hayley, she suddenly got the craving for some garlic bread.... This in turn resulted in me also getting a craving for garlic bread (like father like daughter..... :kokorohappy:)...
Thankfully all of my immediate family are supportive (including my Grandmother who loves her great-granddaughter).
And my eldest simply doesn't care about the opinions of those who don't matter to her. (+as she has said before. The one opinion that matters the most to her, is my opinion)
Just...
Even worse when it occurs within the 'family'.....
Recently found out that some extended family members voiced their bigoted and unwanted opinions about my eldest daughter's sexuality and relationship with her girlfriend.
That really pissed me the fuck off and I wanted to confront them head on...
There's a 4 year age gap between myself and the mother of my eldest daughters....
Meanwhile, the biggest age gap between myself and someone that I had a one night stand with was 20+ years. I was 17 and she was in her late 30s :haylul:
Children are like gachapon,... :kokorohappy:
I was just so damn lucky with the daughters that I've been blessed with :pandalove: and I always say that the greatest gift that a man could ever be given is the gift of a daughter.
Depends on who the person is....
Most people I will be emotionally closed off to. However, those who have seen me at my most vulnerable can be counted on one hand (My wife, my best friend, my youngest sister and my eldest daughter)
My eldest made the mistake of asking me whether there is a moment/experience in my life that I can't ever forget... :kokorohappy:
She blushed a deep red when I told her that I can never forget the day that she was born and how she gripped my finger with her tiny hand. I can still feel that...
