It’s how you word it. Don’t be like “I don’t know what to call you”, instead say something like “which pronouns may I use to make you feel comfortable”. Many people initially get upset as a defensive mechanism. If someone has been constantly attacked by others, they put up walls.

If you’re ever confused about someone’s pronouns, just ask them. They know themselves best :pepeheart:

Just hopping into the conversation as the OP of this thread :sanapray: It’s more than just documentation. This order makes anyone outside of the binary fear for their safety on a day to day basis. It subjects them to further harassment, more than they already experience in their day to day...
