the cult classic thing makes sense. i just thought it was related to an album concept or something, like how red velvet's peek-a-boo literally features a fictional cult in the mv. but i don't like conspiracy theories, so idk about the illuminati thing :pikadab:

r.i.p. sulli. i just wanted to make clear that i know of her death and it is so, so, so tragic. but i do agree with others who say that appreciating her music is one way of honoring her, so i looked into some of her songs and the ones from f(x)'s pink tape are so amazing. this is just a simple...

So cool!

Vocal Second is totally just a term i made up, but i'm using it in reference to lead vocals in groups where the main vocals blow everyone away so often that they, sadly, often get overlooked and overshadowed even though they're also super good singers. two of my fav Vocal Seconds are: HYERIN...

i can tell these are probably from october, when she first appeared in public sporting dark hair (since joining loona). but anyway still pretty new, and damn she looks gorgeous :llama_squish:

Thanks for the interesting responses! I was worried I'd get hate for this. I do get what you're saying. But I feel the need to repeat that I am not technically a Western fan, as I'm Filipino (SE Asian) and was born + grew up + lived in the Philippines most of my life. To be fair, I'm confused by...

PLEASE JUST LEAVE IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE NEGATIVITY ABOUT YOONA OF SNSD/GIRLS GENERATION. I KNOW THEY'RE ONE OF THE BIGGEST GGS EVER AND I'M TOO YOUNG TO DIE. So... why is Yoona locally considered the prettiest in SNSD? (I don't know about the international fanbase, but I know in South Korea...

hi, elmeri! we have the same biases from loona, it seems!!!

The current format in which their lore unfolds (through music videos and short clips) is amazing, don't get me wrong. Music is a brilliant way to tell a story, and LOONA are some of the best dancers in K-Pop today. I just can't help wishing for a LOONA TV show. If no one snatches up the rights...

I roleplay on Tumblr and love making HQ resources. Right now, I really want to feel that satisfaction™ of making a full HQ GIF pack of a faceclaim who is a woman of color. I'm thinking an East Asian actress right now, specifically Korean, but I'm open to other ethnicities as well. I wanted to...

eh, no. but the network loves to push them to be popular. they're mostly popular for being irritating.

Easy. The Korean entertainment industry, and the society in SK as a whole, puts a lot of value upon looking good. That isn't to say Hollywood doesn't prioritize looking glamorous or anything, but when you look at Korea's approach to beauty and self-grooming, you see the difference. If I'm not...

because it shouldn't even be disputed but people have a vendetta against miss jinsoul for some reason and are always trying to deny how good a singer she is "kim lip and yves are the only ones who have proved their live singing" "kim lip outsang jinsoul on her own b-side (love letter)" not...

not western, but in the southeast side of asia....... i'm ashamed. of all the countless extremely talented groups in the philippines, this one had to go viral for how terrible they are. these girls were wearing white outfits in their performance, like loona in the butterfly era, but it's like...

i'm asian myself so i will never not be iffy on the milky white skin thing (it is A Problem), but she's soo pretty wtf you're right, her features are v clean and well-proportioned 🤩

damn wtf.............. how could you call her a visual hole??? and i think chaeyoung is really pretty too, she seems to be more on the sexy side a bit. her looks in the "heart shaker" mv were some of my favorites.

so i saw one of those "visual ranking (by korean beauty standards)" and by god i know they're never very accurate, but i saw dahyun ranked low and i was curious about this? note that even if she doesn't conform much to korean beauty standards, generally, doesn't mean she's ugly. indeed, i see a...

your resident gg fandom latecomer here lol! i really, really liked "ddd," and i put off listening to other songs for a while, because "ddd" set the bar high. then, i heard "hot pink." i liked it even more than "ddd." then, i heard "ah yeah." i liked it even more than "hot pink," and just adore...

this isn't going to be lengthy. apart from the fact that i never knew her all that well, as a fan or as a friend, i just don't want to make a spectacle of her death. i don't want to contribute to it. but there are just some thoughts i've been keeping in my head all day. when i found out about...

I KNOW THEY DO. I JUST LITERALLY AM SO DUMB I FORGOT TO TYPE THAT. I KNOW THEY HAVE 5 MEMBERS. I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE MISS YERI. (MY RV BIAS LIST GOES LIKE JOY-SEULGI AT TIE FOR NUMBER ONE, YERI AT NUMBER TWO, AND IRENE-WENDY ROUGHLY THE SAME LOL. BUT I LIKE THEM ALL.) WHY IS MY BRAIN LIKE THIS...
