1. I've never felt comfortable with the word stan but I sometimes use it. If feels like a weird way to apply the term because in my had it should mean to "stand" for something (moral, law, etc). Standing for Apink, BTW, BP, who ever seems weird. I chalk it up to me being positively ancient...

It's a hard task master

Dumb, there's thousands of languages to learn. It's dumb there's so much focus on French and Spanish. I took 4.5 years of German. I did some Japanese in college but failed. It was fun though.
