Yes in 2016, this song was actually rumored to be a track originally meant to be GFriend as well. Though that might've been to gather hype since Rough and MGT were so huge. However, after it was released, K-netz said "this style only fits GFriend. It's not meant for others."

Iggy Youngbae have written many other songs like Ailee's Heaven and Hello Venus's Would You Like Some Tea? so best believe they can make music not similar to GF's style. I think this song particularly gives off GF vibes because it was meant to to be for GF.
