Oh, yes, that was a crazy time. I remember the Atlanta venue being ~ 25% full just a few days before the concert. Partly because the advertising for the tour was almost nonexistent.

Note to all: If any Kpop artist performs at a small venue near you, just go. The show might not be a big production, but the music and fan interactions are still great. I've had the good fortune to see Heize and Hyukoh in small venues (< 900 people). Both were great. Hyukoh had a 20-minute...

Great point. I agree. It's easy to forget that artists do grow and change. I saw NCT on two separate occasions/years. The first time they were new, like nice guys who were unsure but trying to do their best. (I'd say "Boy Scouts" but that term is too loaded nowadays.) The next time I saw...

I agree. And it's one of the few Kpop songs that don't have cringey English lyrics. On one of the fan videos of that performance you can hear a girl to the side saying "What the f---! What the f---! ..." the whole time. Which would be really annoying if you're trying to hear the song, but...

BTW, one thing I find special about Kpop concerts is that the fansites are very active. Some give out banners for fans to hold up at various times during the concert. Here's the one I have from Newark, New Jersey:

I stan Red Velvet, so their Redmare concert in New Jersey last 2019 is at the top of my list. A close second is KCON NY 2018. The lineup for the first night was this: Golden Child, Heize, Pentagon, Red Velvet, Super Junior. Just before the last member of Pentagon left the stage (they normally...

The following video provides screen time with Kpop composers whose works we know. Here are some I picked out: Moa Anna Maria Carlebecker, a.k.a. Cazzi Opeia (composed Psycho, Power Up, Blue Lemonade, Peek-A-Boo, etc.) is at 4:14 Choi Jin Suk, a.k.a. Jinbyjin (produced Bloom and The Red) is at...

Well, their worst is still pretty good. If it randomly came up on Spotify I wouldn't skip it.

Red Velvet Best: One Of These Nights Worst: Ice Cream Cake (Happiness is not far behind) SNSD Best: Into The New World (Genie is a close second) Worst: Lion Heart

Great praise for Wendy, of course. Those interviewers are funny. Here's their youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/@FOSquadKPOP/videos and here's their reaction to the paintings in Feel My Rhythm
