I mean what is the difference between a stan and a casual fan for you? When do you call yourself a stan? When you support your group financially (buying their music, merch etc), or when you just simple enjoy, maybe stream their music? @SteviSone answer in the other thread, made me curious...

I respect anyone who writes their own lyrics, but its mostly a bonus. Just because its self produced its not gonna be a great song. I feel the same way about the vocalist arguement. Just because a group have a great vocalist(s) its not gonna make their songs great. the music itself >>>...

Um yes, I can understand that. You have to explain that "yeah I know that some fans are weird but I am totally normal about it haha" and it gets awkward as hell.

I don't think it's bad. I rarely talk about kpop irl. Never talked about it with my university friends, like its not a daily topic, we have more important things to discuss. Do you think your friends would make fun of you if you tell them about your kpop interest?

My answers: no, yes and half-successful. My friend kinda likes bts, find them nice guys and like some songs (especially RM's solo albums). Also she likes some kpop songs (once she showed me a monsta x song). But overall she is pretty uninterested. How about you? share your stories :llama_ramen:
