Cool, I avoided the entire recap section and everything literally cause I know part of the story already. Still read the review tho, glad you liked it and honestly that type of art I'd still call eye candy since idk, it just looks nice and I can sense how much work must have been put into it.

It's probably cause it was one of the first anime that came to our televisions when we were young and it wasn't only in the USA but also everywhere else. It was right there next to Naruto, Bleach and Death Note (and Inuyasha for me) but it probably wasn't as popular in Japan or generally. But...
