I agree it's a strange MV. But it helped me appreciate the song a lot faster and get to the point where I'd rather listen to the audio without the MV. The fake blood + cuts images in the teasers were all Dispatch-level sensationalism. If the song had been released without the MV I don't know...

Underwhelming at first, then 2/3 of the way through it washes over you.
