lately i have only been listening to an smaller number, is cool following tons of artists but it's time consuming and really want to focus on some specific ones for the moment
my backlog of artists is massive, in 2022? i think i listened to at least over 1000+ Japanese songs and even did a small year end list
here if you want to check it

speaking about Jpop my top artists would
bands: SCANDAL, SILENT SIREN, Hitsujibungaku
idol groups: BiSH, EMPiRE and ExWHYZ
Soloist: ano
for soloist after that is hard to say, there are too many good ones although i like Ako a lot lately so maybe her is going to get a spot in there soon
so many new Hitsujibungaku stuff lately
my Hitsujibungaku luck charm in the shape of Moeka's profile picture has been working well
speaking of ED themes they did the song for the 2nd ED of JJK
things are going well! i felt there was a "drought" of music i like but lately pretty much every artists i follow is or is about to release something new
that's cool! how much time it takes you to produce one? i think writing songs sounds fun but i feel it would take some time
personally it would take me a day just to decide what to write about
there are so many good artists, right now the one i'm looking forward to is Ako's major debut in like two weeks, she was my favorite artist i discovered last year
from her visit to SXSW, she went around showing a preview of her new album to random people
btw she doesn't speak a drop of English so she is as lost as the other people, jealous they got to hear the album before me she is really good
life... it's always something :reallysadcat:
kinda dumb but after feeling crappy you usually feel unusually good later, guess is a good trade off :sanapray:
it is, i checked the release date of the original and i wasn't even born yet so a while
seems the Urusei Yatsura remake did well enough that is Ranma's turn and if that one does well then later Inuyasha
official collab! first they did the ED song for Jujutsu Kaisen and now Shaun the Sheep, they only work with the best animes
yeah a little weird but actually makes sense when you think about it, Hitsujibungaku means Sheep Literature and their mascot is also a sheep so why not?
speaking of...
