I've known my cats since they were kittens, and had great experiences with every one of them.
I've heard of mixed results from people who've adopted or rescued adult cats. Sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

I love dogs, but they're high maintenance when compared to cats. And I find cat personalities to be very interesting.
Rabbits also have personalities but it takes a while (days) to get to know one.
I work from home. Outdoor activities: walking, running, driving.
It helps that I'm in a region of the US (Northeast) where people are very good about wearing masks. So food shopping, etc. is not that stressful.
I did watch the first video since that was the basis for your argument. He started mentioning small business owners just before the 2-minute mark. He did not point out that the increase (from 20% to 40%) in tax really just applies to long term capital gains, possibly because that would lessen...
The capital gains tax applies only to sales of investments, e.g., if you held stock, real estate or other assets for a long time and then sold it. I don't see how it would affect most small business owners.
The capital gains tax is different from the income tax which applies to most workers...
