Text books are hard, thats why I read actual court opinions. Lawers don't refer to text books, they read what the court actually writes. Reading the laws is less important than reading and understand how the court interprets that law. I guess what I can suggest is when you read your text book...

I disagree but I read supreme court decisions for fun soooo my opinion is flawed. It's helpful when you think of the law as a weapon. Then it becomes fun when you use it to scare people. I'm the human resources equivilent of a nightmare.
