Actually, the only thing confusing on the thread is the inclusion of BoA because she was heavily influenced by Britney Spears to start with. For males, I agree that MJ is probably the biggest inspiration overall but I'd say that N*SYNC and Backstreet Boys are closer in style to the first kpop...
