it's not actually part of edge, it's a windows feature that basically restricts you to only be able to use edge as a browser and only download programs/apps from the windows store. it's supposed to be for "security" but honestly you'd be more secure with adblock and a decent antivirus lmao

i've never opted in in the first place, and from other people i know opting out should be just fine as long as you do it properly :sanapray: edge is honestly pretty bad, you're better off switching out and getting firefox or something lmao just make sure to follow the official microsoft...
