It's gotten better in recent years, but it was pretty isolating when I first started getting into it. People here look down on anything that's different. A lot of K-Pop stuff also just isn't as accessible here compared to other states. We don't have stores specifically for it. People don't...

So confusing... There's a general issue of people taking terms and making them buzz words that no longer accurately reflect their original meaning, especially with medical terms. I won't get into it bc it'll sound like me being too sensitive or whatever but it drives me up the wall
