Yep, evil eye is evil intent and/or jealousy, I read somewhere that it’s a glare but for Islam it can be said outloud, a thought, or just a plain curse! Even something like “I hope this happens to this person” can be evil eye, it can be illness/injury like with Ning, loss of wealth or family...
