You're right, we aren't the same. Not at all. Gifts are not everything to me, it's what I feel in my heart. Nothing wrong with liking stuff, if it doesn't become an obsession. I have a teddy bear I love because it holds sentimental value. Not a jerk, just stating an opposing opinion

Yikes. He's right, friendships are worth more than gifts. Friendships are about feelings and a connection. Maybe is not a guarantee, and even if he did, it wouldn't be a determining factor of friendship. He's probably also trying to please you too, even though it's expensive :sicatape:
