Shimmer by icp sounds like the family in my head thats British. Though I wish for the days they had heads, instead of being headless and burned terribly. Always juggling and holding kitchen utensils. They whisper ill of me and always have that fading echo voice.

I am not sure. I like it really heavy most of the time. I have no clue how you like it though. Maybe start with some melodic death metal like soilwork, or scar symmetry, since it's kind of lighter with the clean (singing vocals)
