I would normally say just let them have the phone but I think her story is inspiring.
I believe her father and brother saved up a lot of money and time for the phone so she could attend online classes, so she felt like she couldn't let it go.
Also, the 2 men had just been released from jail because of covid and overcrowded of the prisons.
Showing exemplary courage, a 15-year-old girl on Monday fought off snatchers who tried to snatch her mobile phone in Deen Dayal Upadhyay Nagar near Jalandhar-Kapurthala road. Despite being attacked with a sharp-edged weapon, she managed to catch hold of one of the snatchers. While she fought with the snatchers for a few minutes, soon commuters jumped in to her rescue and thrashed the snatcher. The whole incident, which occurred around 2 pm, was recorded in a nearby CCTV.
