1VERSE (Universe) released their new single 'Loop' on September 11, their first comeback since 'WABIF' in January.
'Loop' draws on the tension of an arcade claw machine, where the prize stays just out of reach, using the image to depict the pull of trying again despite repeated failure. The track is built on up-tempo electronic pop.
Choi Min Kyung, CEO of the group's agency Singing Beetle, described the concept as the irony of a simple curiosity turning into something increasingly hard to walk away from, like being caught in a loop.
Members Kenny, Nathan, and Aito took part in writing and composing the song. The production also involved Adrian McKinnon, who has worked with EXO and SHINee, and Skylar Mones, who has collaborated with Dua Lipa.
1VERSE debuted in July 2025 under Singing Beetle, and have since performed on tours across North America and Europe. 'WABIF', released in January, was their most recent single before 'Loop'.
