It wasn't seen as an issue with her Philippines viewers because there's a whole courting phase where you basically just hung out before you got anywhere close to dating like elsewhere from my understanding which is why this initially went under the radar.

Between the general non chalant tone she brought it up with and then acting like this it's clear she genuinely sees no issue with it even on reflection as this is a pretty stern doubling down if I've ever seen one.
