My unpopular opinion:
1) I think they’re overrated

2) on was horrible

3) sorry but it happens to any other group plus Jungkook is in hot shit in korea rn so...

I agree that on was aboustly terrible
they spent so much money on the mv
the random dance mv before the mv realised
and not enough money on anything else
like the music.
there music becoming more western every comeback
to the point a lot people don't class them as kpop anymore

I think the fact they been famouse western wise for so long and rm is only member speaking English

and you look at smaller groups like superm
with members who learnt English in small amount of time
shows how little effort they have put in to remain popular in the West

What made his first mixtape so amazing was the rawness, passion and desperation you could hear in it.
D-2 was utterly devoid of any of that.

and I'm sad about that, bcs I really did WISH to love his mixtape. I was (and still am) utterly in love with Agust D.....

Well I am thinking from RM's performance of Umbrella. You could see he had potential to be like Tablo and be able to articulate emotions. Not to diss on rappers, but a lot of rappers just rap. There is no force and emotion that can get the lister gripped. I think RM had that potential and now he just sounds average.

They are not weakening the racist meaning they are encouraging intolerance and ignorance. Everyone wants acceptance and embracing but actually act out hypocrisy. Weakening the racist meaning are those people that drop the N word on the daily basis cause "they can".

and cmon every artist has a few bad comebacks here and there. sure was ON and map of the soul 7 my favorite comeback from them? definitely not, but that doesn't mean that their next comeback will be the same way. hate bts or love them, they always come back with something different. and tbh I'm kinda sick of the whole "bts older music is better, they're getting more westernized I hate it boohoo" because it's not. you're just holding on to nostalgia. their best albums are from their newer music. i get that its subjective but yall are acting like after dna they just started to release absolute garbage when that was far from the case.

This. But I think it’s pointless to argue at this point. In some people mind, ARMY who are joining the fandom at this point are just brainless and toxic sheeps who follow the bandwagon because there is nothing outstanding about BTS or not anymore. ARMY are in general way more dedicated than some others fandoms for a reason.

BTS albums from the Map of the soul era receive a good critical and public reception which is not given to everyone nowadays.

The fanbase is so huge at this point and not all ARMY are going to be satisfied with the constant changes of music. At the same time, new ARMy join and some unstan. It’s not really different from others fandoms but for a reason some ex ARMY are really loud about the reasons why they left the fandom.

One comeback is not just the title track. Songs like Jamais Vu, Home, Mikrokosmos, Louder than bombs, We are bulletproof : Eternal, Shadow,Inner Child, Black Swan are unique in the Kpop landscape. The Love yourself series is a fan favorite. Same for 7.

if that dont bring the original bts fans / actual kpop fans
back on there side I see there fandom may start declining

as every comeback I keep seeing more and more fans say they lost interest in bts

yes there still growing atm

but as there so massive the downfall won't be slow it will be all off a sudden

I feel like even big hit knows there hype is soon to end with debuting 3 groups soon

there trying to replace bts as fast as they can

p.s I still support bts and love them I just know everything has a end and I feel the signs of it happening are getting closer and closer

BTS keep growning. All the clues are here to prove it. Compared to BWL, ON underperform but at the same time, BWL is BTS most successful song either who did better than Fake Love in the West and almost better than Spring Day in Korea.

Soon enough, BTS members are going to enlist and what are BH suppose to do ? Wait for a divine intervention to keep receiving cash ? They are a company, they also have to think about a way to expand themselves. They can’t stay dependent on BTS forever.


BTS peaked with their last comeback. I am an ARMY since 2013 and I heard that a countless number of times. In fact, they are supposedly peaking since 2015.

Justin Bieber still have a huge fanbase to sustain him and he made one « flop » comeback. He can still come back stronger next time.

The actual Kpop stans aren’t the key of BTS success to be honest. I am one of them but BTS have always been carried by a huge amount of ARMY who only stan one group or who at least have BTS for UBs.

I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really really can't see that happening. This seems more suitable for EXO

BTS still has 6 years on their contracts and they're still growing exponentially (not digitally but that's another story) and unlike other groups, they're fanbase is mainly western groups used to waiting for long periods of time between releases, so enlisting won't even dent them. Even if they did start declining, unless one of them straight up kills somebody, they'd still be carried to the end as #1 group
