I really dislike when people do these things, it's neither funny nor cute. Everyone is entitled to like what they want but need to let other fandoms (and idols) have their own space. Maybe I'm taking it too seriously but I think these instances are cumulative.

This sounds almost like a dare between the fan and her friends. I remember hearing older generation of idols, who saw their fans wave around lightsticks of other groups and they felt hurt. Like in that case they had moved on from them to another group. I also remember Gahyeon of Dreamcatcher calling out a fan who took a lightstick of a different group to their concert and fans started to boo lol

My dislike of Blinks is purely sarcasm. As far as me knowing from before, my malnourished panda brain does not hold onto such information for more than 24 hours. I have to check my ID to remember my name each morning.

Im half and half on bringing other lightsticks to someone's concert.

On one hand, many fans stan multiple groups and lightsticks are expensive, especially foe younger fans. I cant expect them all to buy one for each group. So sometimes I think its ok if you want to support and just bring what you have.

But to a fan sign...I dont see the need to bring someone else's lightstick lol
