My mom asked me what I wanted for breakfast and I said toast with a fried egg. So she went upstairs and I was like should be quick right? Like it’s not the least time intensive dish (that would be cereal) but a fried egg takes medium time and toast less time. So I waited, and waited, and waited. She finally came downstairs with the food and told me she forgot to plug the toaster in at first, and then after that forgot to press the start button. I don’t blame her ofc. I have 100% forgotten to turn things on (and off too fairly often) and been sitting there like why is the meat still pink, it’s been like 10 minutes

The funny part is I cant actually make food at nights even if I was able to walk because my dog would wake everyone up by barking, but ig the fact that I’m usually not awake at night plus that I can eat more during the day means I don’t have the issue as much usually. Oh well. In 3 weeks I can start putting some weight on my foot and after that it should be a quicker journey to normal functioning
