I don't see the point; weed's legal in Canada.

@PWSwan weed is legal in both Canada and New York, but taking weed into Canada from NY or into NY from Canada is illegal. So if you cross the border, you won’t be able to have any weed with you (legally), so you’d need to buy some if you want some.

I know; it's illegal to bring weed from here to anywhere else in the US. I just wondered why there were so many dispensaries at the border when it's legal on both sides.

@PWSwan well if you want weed on the opposite side of the border from where you live, you'd have to buy it on the side you’re on, since using your own isn’t an option in that case.
