I think that's great that you now have a kpop friend to talk to! I'm jealous - my one friend isn't interested at all but at least supports my obsession, and then my other friend knows about it and loves the music, but she doesn't actively seek out any of it herself.

I was happy they were willing to even try it out. I know my own first reaction to kpop was "I don't think I like this" but I think new things just require a couple of tries.

They loved TOP's character! They texted me "Did you know Thanos is a real rapper?" Like yes, I did, you're so precious. I had to warn them we hate Seungri now, but everyone else is worth keeping an eye on.

It's fun how those songs stick with us. The one that got me hooked was SHINee's Lucifer, and that led into the same kind of "I wonder what other songs are out there" exploration my friend is currently doing. Couldn't miss Big Bang at the time!
