hi, y'all! i know i've been a mess. i want to reply to the people who have replied to my intro thread. for now, however, i just want to talk about why i love my favorite girls in loona.
i'm not including everyone not because i hate some of the other members. like anyone, i simply have my own opinions. i like all the members of loona, actually. i'm a solid ot12 stan; no girl gets left behind! but here are some of my favorites in loona.
ULT: jinsoul
of course, she is gorgeous. everyone can acknowledge how breathtakingly beautiful she is (even without the blonde hair!), but i've seen too many people disparage her talent. i find it weird, the cognitive dissonance between "her voice is powerful/strong" (something orbits commonly recognize) and then ranking her 6th or lower voice-wise within the group. it doesn't make sense! she is soooo talented, and it hurts me that orbits make it sound like she only contributes to visuals; especially when her letters to fans and interview snippets make it clear that she is a very insecure young woman regarding her looks and performances. jinsoul, you are sosososo talented and stunning. (and orbits constantly joke about her being stupid, even implying that she is horrible at mathematics.... oh, you clowns. she literally ranked in the top 11% for all test-takers in sk for math! she is beautiful, talented, and smart.)

just stunning, one of the prettiest girls i've ever been fortunate enough to lay my eyes upon. i also think her voice is airy and delicate without being overly nasally or squeaky. she may not be able to belt like jinsoul or hit notes as high as chuu, but her voice is stable and sooo pleasant to listen to. being autistic, i've always found social interaction incredibly hard to navigate. this is why learning that her appeal isn't as strong to some people as it could've been (given that she's [hyunjin voice] THAT pretty girl!) were she more outgoing upset me. her introverted/shy image shouldn't distract people from all that she can offer.... that's why she has climbed her way up to a top spot in my bias list. (she's also incredibly funny, as well as remarkably athletic! i always support "difficult" girls with personality and range.)
