So, I was absent a lot when I was recovering from my surgery and I haven't been spending time with my bestie like I used to. Like we spent time almost 24/7 except when he was at work pretty much. Lately he's been going out more and spending time with friends and even dressing up like he always wants to. I asked him if he was talking to someone (in the context of having a gf or something) and he said no. I said, "well you know if you are you can tell me I'm not gonna freak out." And it almost seemed like he was gonna change his answer. IDK. It's been rough for me lately and I'm in a bit of a rut and this is THE LAST THING I need.

Yeah, I've told him I'm inlove with him and all that but he just wants to be friends. But it's not like a usual friendship I can tell I'm special to him. I don't know how his mind works bc he's so unique.

with all due respect my friend I don't know you that well so I'll be impartial but you say you're in love with him and he obviously isn't

why put yourself through all the hardship and heartbreak??? he's your friend and it seems that's the extent of the relationship between you two...if you are constantly still super super close to each other that's going to be an issue moving forward since one day he will find a gf and maybe wife and then that person will be the center of his attention (or should be) which is going to cause you more hurt...
