I like to listen to discussions on both sides so I can be more open minded about the discussions taking place.
What do you think of his viewpoint?

So I'm kind of in between-I genuinely am listening, reading, and trying to learn more about what the left and liberals think when it comes to white people and racism.

But I do fully believe that having a mindset of being the victim usually has a self-fulfilling prophecy. It makes people less likely to work their way out of their circumstances when you are basically told your whole life that you have NO power to change anything because the reason you are in your position is because of something you can't control.

I also think consistently persecuting and villainizing people for having a different perspective just makes those people less likely to speak out, but it won't change their views-it'll just make them bitter and possibly ruin their life. Also, I know the media is kind of criminalizing people who are protecting their properties, which is beyond dumb, especially when they are trying to push their narrative. People in America have the right to protect their property, stop painting those who choose to use that right as monsters, and changing the context.

But like I said, I'm also trying to learn more from the other side and open my eyes a bit more to the idea of systemic racism and things like that.

Also, neither party really cares about Black people but Democrats definitely have a savior complex & superiority complex hence why Joe thought it was ok to say you aren't Black if you don't vote for him <.<

At the same time I understand him but like... half of america is literally just racists/homophobic/sexists... and they literally need a wake up call that what they think and do is wrong and isn't going to be tolerated. All lives do matter but as one person explained "When a kid gets hurt, you're gonna put a band-aid on him. You won't go around putting em to every other kid that's fine."
I do think that some people might get a superiority complex or start spouting that black people are better than white people or when some extremist feminists say women are better than men, but that's going to be a smaller amount of people than the ones that will speak out for themselves and for stopping police brutality in general, but especially towards black people.

I kinda understand him but I think he's also being a bit of a baby? Like ok, you might not want to hear about it, but everyone else on earth needs to cause it's a problem. Just because you haven't experienced racism doesn't mean there aren't a billion other people that haven't. He's also kinda nitpicking specific situations? Like yea some people get exposure, some don't. Doesn't mean they weren't important, just means they weren't... Not everything can be done about every single thing, but by drawing the bigger picture you can get it down to a minimum. He's honestly mad for stuff that has never been stated to be right, it just isn't changeable unlike the things that people are doing. I won't comment more cause he kinda annoyed me but yea...

In the long 401 years that black people have been in America, there has always been a faction proudly deep-throating the white man and arguing against their own people. Viewed by black people as the Karens, Connors and Donald Trumps of Black America. Viewed by conservative and/or racists of other races as a token to shut down black people anytime they bring up racism (not you or anyone in this thread)

I do think that the Police system is pretty corrupt but I also think the BLM movement is corrupt also, but I can definitely understand the BLM movement and why it exists.
I have watched quite a few videos where there are Black people who have seemingly done nothing wrong (I say seemingly because who knows what goes on before the actual video is uploaded), but they are suddenly approached and tazed, beaten, and even shot.

Now, this type of thing absolutely horrifies me and like I have said before, I can 100% understand why there is a BLM movement.

However, like I have also said, I also think that the movement is corrupt and there are definitely some bad apples who want to stir things up and make things worse.

Same goes for the police force. There are actually pretty good people but there are also bad people who are genuinely racist and want to see destruction.

So, my question is, how do we go about weaving out all of the bad apples from each side?

Well, like the police force has racists and are hateful towards certain races, the BLM movement also has racists and those people have more hatred in them than actually wanting to stand up for what is right and actually make change. They mainly want to see things escalate further and tbh it's working.
But that's also because of the media is trying to stir things up as well. The media is so negative and only show the bad side of things when they could also show the good side but they choose not to.

BLM's biggest flaw is that there isn't one person in particular leading it. Anyone can speak and say anything. Aside from ignoring them since they are a minority, I don't know what else can be done since anyone can join and leave the movement.

The problem with police forces isn't just the bad apples, it's the systems in place to protect them and that fail to hold them accountable while cycling them back into the system. Whether reform, reconstruction or abolition is the answer idk

I think a Martin Luther King would solve that problem as there needs to be a leader who can get everyone together to make change.
