I don't know there is not much gossip I guess? 3 of the people that went to korea got cut in the end, 6 made it

i need to process this shit lol

honestly a lot of the members were pretty much expected. jyp was whipped for kendall and kaylee. camila too, honestly as someone who followed boys planet and stans zb1, i'd like to take the liberty of comparing camila to sung hanbin - the perfect package, skills for dayyss + a warm, leaderly personality - which the people in charge recognised, and highlighted through their show. as a lexi stan i'm so happy she made it, it was looking rather shaky closer to the end and i was quite scared. well i guess she joins the club of ballet dancers winning jyp's approval in order to successfully debut through survival shows, thank god, if she got eliminated she may have had join an mnet survival show couple years down the line where she garners a lot of int popularity but fails to make the cut, only to debut in a jpop group later on (reference to hart of toz, aka maeda haruto of jypsy loud and boys planet, anticipate toz's debut!)

kaylee... y'know i just said that she was a lock, but i actually thought she wouldn't debut. she's young. quite young. i genuinely thought she'd just not debut, but have jyp recruit her as a trainee to debut in a future girl group - would have absolutely gutted her, yes, but it wouldn't have been too bad an idea, she's korean-american anyway, fluent in the language too, would be perfect for a kpop group based in korea. but she's already so. very. skilled. not debuting her as she is seems criminal from that perspective too. it's really a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation.

vcha... is a name. it's giving first gen - fin.k.l anyone? though i understand it comes from the word 빛을 which means to shine (thanks kaylee for the explanation!), similary sevit must be from 새빛 - meaning new light, ofc. i love how all the ㅂs are spelt with a v in english, kim gyuvin paved the way😌 /j. on a serious note, all this makes it abundant that they'll be promoting in korea too!

anyway idk if i'll stan the group, tbh. still i'll tune in for my girl lexi!
