It's really not that hard to not drive while intoxicated, drink with someone who won't drink and can safely drive everyone home, grab a taxi or a bus. Or even call your manager in his case. As someone who has lost a loved one to a reckless driver I'm disappointed in him. I'm just glad nobody was hurt.
