OMG you're right! it was a hamster!!! (well, it was tech a gerbil, two of them, but I'll give you the coins anyway bc close enough) I'd gotten two gerbils for my seventh birthday, and I had them for a good three years. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of getting a boy and a girl instead of one gender, and then they multiplied and multiplied and multiplied... it got pretty ugly and a lot of them ended up dying, so we got rid of them.

Yeah ive heard they are real masters in birthing I wanted hamster when we were getting my first pet but we went with a tortoise
